I'm thrilled to be attending this wonderful event. As a Special Ed teacher, and grandparent, keeping our kids safe and healthy is my top priority. Child abuse hurts all of us and prevention efforts HELP all of us, too! Please come by and visit me at the Bell Co. Democrats Booth. We will have information on candidates and there will be voter registration cards available to anyone who may need one, as well as up to the minute news about the Democratic County Convention, set for April 21st in Belton. I am convinced that this is the year of the woman! The Baylor Lady Bears go 40 and 0, making sports history and the citizens of Bell County now have the opportunity to elect the first woman ever, to sit on the Commissioners Court, to make history right here in Bell County! I think child abuse is a dreadful disease that affects both children and adults that will continue to impact the victims and survivors' life forever. Thank you, to both the staff and dedicated volunteers of this agency for doing what they do. I also believe, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that the most effective way to reduce child abuse is through AWARENESS, EDUCATION, AND PREVENTION.
